NANCY KLASS - SOPRANO

FROM A FAMILY OF DISTINGUISHED MUSICIANS. HER GREAT GRANDFATHER WAS CONDUCTOR OF THE OPERA COMIQUE IN PARIS AND HER FRENCH GRANDPARENTS WERE BOTH WELL KNOWN PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS BEING MEMBERS OF THE RLPO, NANCY TRAINED IN LONDON AT THE ROYAL ACADEMY OF MUSIC AND LATER STUDIED IN ITALY. SHE HAS GIVEN MANY PERFORMANCES OF LIEDER, ORATORIO AND OPERA BOTH IN THIS COUNTRY AND ABROAD AS WELL AS RADIO BROADCASTS. HER RECITALS INCLUDE PROGRAMMES IN FIVE LANGUAGES.

LYDIA BRYAN - PIANIST

A GRADUATE OF THE ROYAL NORTHERN COLLEGE OF MUSIC WHERE SHE STUDIED PIANO, HARPSICHORD AND VIOLIN, LYDIA WAS AWARDED A TOUR AS A WINNER OF THE NORTHWEST ARTS YOUNG MUSICIANS PLATFORM AND WAS CHOSEN TO PARTICIPATE IN CONCERTS THROUGH THE LIVE MUSIC NOW SCHEME, FOUNDED BY YEHUDI MENUMN. SHE HAS APPEARED AT THE PURCELL ROOM IN LONDON, AND HAS BROADCAST ON THE BBC. LYDIA HAS GIVEN CONCERT TOURS AS SOLOIST AND ACCOMPANIST IN DENMARK, SWEDEN, HOLLAND, GERMANY, SWITZERLAND AND HUNGARY IN ADDITION TO RECITAL AND CONCERTO WORK IN THE UK.

NEIL SMITH - GUITARIST

STUDIED IN MANCHESTER, LONDON AND TORONTO_ HE RETURNED TO THE UK AND MADE HIS WIGMORE HALL DEBUT TO GREAT ACCLAIM. HE FOLLOWED THIS WITH TOURS UNDER THE FINEST ORCHESTRAS ALONGSIDE SIR SIMON RATTLE AND THE CBSO, THE SNO UNDER SIR ALEXANDER GIBSON AND THE LONDON PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA. WITH THIS LAST ORCHESTRA HE MADE HIS BARBICAN DEBUT. RECENT TOURS HAVE INCLUDED JAPAN, ARABIA, RUSSIA, SCANDINAVIA, HOLLAND, PORTUGAL AND SPAIN. IN 2000 HE, WAS INVITED TO PLAY FOR THE QUEEN MOTHER ON THE OCCASION OF HER 1OOth BIRTHDAY AT GLAMIS CASTLE.
